seventh inning stretch

Beers (or the gluten-free equivalent if you’re like me), hot dogs sans buns, peanuts, and the sun setting over our beautiful city. It is no wonder baseball is the All-American pastime. Although the weather cooled off a little more than expected (I now am the proud owner of a Justin Verlander blanket!), it usually doesn’t get much better than a night at Comerica Park.

  1. I love the photo of the peanut shells on the floor. It’s very Americana and kinda what made me, an English person, fall in love with the game. My only gripe is that it’s in Detroit and not a Mets game!

  2. The picture had me because I’m a HUGE baseball fan. Beautiful girl fashionably dressed didn’t hurt either. There is definitely nothing like a night at the ballpark. Sounds like you had a great time!!!

    • Hey now, I am a Canadian (from Toronto) and baseball is my favourite past time as well. I watch at least 5-10 baseball games a season and watch many more on tv. Canadians know baseball…

  4. Style, grace and a great view from the Tiger’s Den seats? Too cool. Thanks for the blog, I really like it!

  5. Wow the only time I get to watch baseball is when I’m on lunch from work… If you’re wondering I’m from Australia and only get to watch a couple of innings at the most. Who was playing in this game, who won and was it any good?

  6. I will be coming to Detroit in the summer to watch the Tigers…your pics are beautiful! I’m a big baseball fan (I’m from Toronto) and nothing sounds better then being at a diamond in the summer watching a team play having some drinks and food with friends or family!
