Ahoy there mateys! (I actually considered “Land Ho” as the title of this post, until I realized how grossly misconstrued yet humorous that could be taken, is that bad?!)
Anyways, I’m usually a skinny jeans/pants kind of girl, but this past week I’ve found myself picking out high-waisted, bell bottomed pants on more than one occasion. Maybe I’m just a 70′s child at heart, or more likely I am a fan of the way they make my 5’1″ frame suddenly appear several inches taller (a guy in the elevator finally realized the optical illusion of these babies when my five inch heels made a brief appearance from under the bottom cuffs). Either way, I think its a safe bet that I will be wearing a lot more of this style in the future.
